Various contrast and filling conditions of ventriculography

Currently commonly used contrast agents for ventriculography include: negative contrast agent (air), positive non-water-soluble contrast agent (iodophenyl ester) and positive water-soluble contrast agent (Conray). This paper compares the filling of three contrast agents in 60 cases of normal ventriculography, in order to find out the special conditions for each contrast agent. 20 cases of normal ventriculography were performed with the above three contrast agents, and the filling of the ventricular system was evaluated by scoring method. The scoring method designed by the author is shown in Table 1, and the scoring results are shown in Table 2.
