Abstract

This article summarizes the treatment experience of 110 cases of depressed skull fracture with primary reduction surgery. Among them, compound (open) skull fractures accounted for 85 cases (77%). The author further divided frontal bone depression fractures (65 cases) into: (1) frontal bone dome fractures (32 cases), without orbital or sinus damage; (2) frontal bone base fractures (33 cases), With injury to the cribriform plate, ethmoid sinus, frontal sinus, and orbital rim
