The enlargement of the cervical intervertebral foramen is usually thought to be caused by dumbbell-shaped neurofibroma. The author proposed that the vascular loop formed by the extension and tortuosity of the vertebral artery can also cause similar changes and should be included in the differential diagnosis. The author has discovered 9 cases in the past year, and 5 cases were confirmed by angiography. The patients' ages ranged from 34 to 74 years old. There were 6 females and 3 males. 7 patients were treated for various neurological symptoms. All cases had headache or neck pain. 6 cases developed dizziness symptoms. 4 cases had intermittent upper arm paresthesias
