Abstract

This article comprehensively discusses the basic applications, clinical impact, and future development trends of artificial intelligence (AI) technology in the field of urology. Studies have shown that AI is profoundly changing the traditional practice model of urology by empowering the entire process of disease diagnosis, surgical planning, treatment execution, and patient management. In terms of diagnosis, AI algorithms have demonstrated accuracy and efficiency that surpass human experts in medical image analysis, pathology identification, and clinical decision support systems; in the field of treatment, robot-assisted surgery and AI-guided non-invasive treatment are redefining the precision boundaries of urological surgery; in terms of patient management, AI-driven remote monitoring and personalized rehabilitation programs have significantly improved medical resources and patient prognosis. This article also analyzes the challenges and limitations of AI applications, including data privacy, algorithm transparency, and ethical issues, and proposes suggestions for future development directions. Studies have shown that the deep integration of AI technology and urology will drive the discipline's transformation towards intelligence, precision, and minimally invasiveness, ultimately achieving a comprehensive improvement in the value of diagnosis and treatment.
