Abstract

Over the past ten years, various aspects of pain have been extensively studied and considerable progress has been made. Therefore, it is necessary to review the pain problem on a new basis. This article intends to introduce some experimental data and clinical research on the neuroanatomy and physiology of pain in recent years. 1. Pain-sensing peripheral neurons Whether there are peripheral neurons specific for sensing and transmitting pain is a long-term debate in sensory physiology. Physiologists influenced by Muller's law of specific energy believeĀ
