Microsurgical treatment of intracranial supramaternal aneurysm

This article reports the experience of 60 cases of intracranial supratentorial aneurysms treated with microsurgery in the past three years. Data (1) Gender and age: 32 female cases and 28 male cases. The ages ranged from 17 to 70 years old, and 43 cases were younger than 50 years old. (2) Location of aneurysm: in order of incidence, they are: anterior communicating artery in 28 cases, supraclinoid carotid artery in 14 cases, middle cerebral artery in 13 cases, internal carotid artery bifurcation in 7 cases, and posterior communicating artery in 3 cases. There was 1 case of anterior cerebral artery, 1 case of pericallosal branches, and 1 case of bilateral lesions (anterior communicating artery + middle cerebral artery). (3)Surgery
