Acute neurological complications after liver transplantation, especially air embolism in the book

This article makes a simple clinical and pathological observation report on the complications of the central nervous system after liver transplantation. Special emphasis is placed on air emboli from the transplanted liver as a possible cause of comorbidities and their prevention. 48 adult patients, aged 19-68 years old. From March 1963 to April 1976, nine patients underwent liver transplantation and developed clinically significant neurological damage during or soon after the operation. During the same period, 60 children underwent the same surgery as adults, but no similar complications occurred. The nine patients were aged 31-52 years old, all with advanced liver cirrhosis
