Abstract

Ectopic meningiomas refer to tumors with meningioma morphology that occur in tissues and organs that are not covered by meninges under normal circumstances. The disease was first described by Winkler in 1904, and was subsequently reported in foreign literature. The relevant information is hereby summarized. A brief review of the literature is as follows.
