Cerebrospinal leak after craniocerebral trauma surgery can sometimes be healed by repeated lumbar puncture. Vorch and Rougerie used continuous drainage of cerebrospinal fluid through lumbar puncture instead of repeated lumbar puncture. White et al. used a closed continuous ventricular drainage system, which significantly reduced the risk of infection. The author improved the above method and used it for lumbar and ventricular drainage
