Abstract

The surgical treatment of cerebral arteriovenous malformations has taken about half a century of efforts to reach the current level of active surgical removal. This is consistent with the surgical treatment of cerebral aneurysms. However, cerebral aneurysm surgery has become standardized, with clipping as the main surgical method. However, there are still many problems that have not been solved in cerebral arteriovenous malformation surgery. There are also different views on indications.
